Atom String Quartet and Seifert Night – we’re starting our tour in Germany
This October, we’re setting off on our autumn tour Seifert Night – a project created in collaboration with the Zbigniew Seifert Foundation.
This year’s tour marks another step in our long-standing partnership with the foundation, following many successful projects both in Poland and abroad. Back in 2017, the foundation also released our fourth album – SEIFERT.
The idea behind the project is based on two main goals: to support and promote Polish artists internationally, and to present the music of Zbigniew Seifert.
It’s a great honor for us to collaborate with the Foundation once again.
In October and November, we’ll be performing in five German cities:
9 Oct – Hamburg, JazzHall 🎫 tickets
11 Oct – Greifswald, University Aula 🎫 free admission – details here
12 Oct – Berlin, b-flat Jazz Club 🎫 tickets
14 Oct – Tübingen, Sudhaus 🎫 tickets
8 Nov – Göttingen, Jazzfestival 🎫 tickets
During the concerts, we’ll perform our own compositions – including pieces from our latest album UNIVERSUM – as well as works by outstanding Polish composers such as Zbigniew Seifert, Krzysztof Penderecki, Henryk Wieniawski, and Fryderyk Chopin, arranged by us for an improvising string quartet.
