Grażyna Auguścik Chicago Quintet and special guests „ON The Way”
Grażyna’s Auguścik concert is more than a jazz evening – it is a meeting of cultures, aesthetics and emotions. For many years, the artist has been closely connected with the American music scene. Her distinctive voice leads listeners on a musical journey – intimate, moving and often unpredictable.
The project „On The Way” is a story about a journey – between Europe and America, tradition and modernity, silence and expression. She is accompanied by outstanding artists from the Chicago jazz scene: Rob Clearfield – piano, John Kregor – guitar, Matt Ulery – double bass, Jon Deitemyer – drums.
Together they create music based on dialogue and improvisation, in which every voice is equal, and sound and space carry the same weight.
Special guests:
Atom String Quartet and Jarosław Bester – accordionist and composer, leader of the Bester Quartet, an artist drawing inspiration from the tradition of Jewish music, contemporary music, chamber music and jazz.
Concert host:
Andrzej Poniedzielski – poet, satirist and master of words, whose intelligent narration and subtle humor will be a unique complement to the evening.
